From Style Guides to Smart Assistants: How AI Supports In-House Content Experts at Red Hat

While not everyone can work at a technology company developing AI tools and services, the benefits of integrating AI to augment—not replace—content writers and strategists can be achieved at any organization. In this session, I’ll share how adopting AI tools trained on standard and custom style guides, as well as brand voice and tone, is helping technology company Red Hat move work from external agencies to in-house experts. With tools like a plain language Gemini Gem, style guide assistants for marketing and technical content, and more, Red Hat helps our subject-matter experts write (and even translate!) more effectively and efficiently.

In this session, attendees will learn:

  • Adopt Gemini and custom style assistants to help even experienced writers gut-check their work.
  • Supplement routine manual editing with AI assistants to save time—and as a result, money—for teams addressing different audiences and mediums.
  • Make a case for incorporating a similar approach at their own organizations.
