Viqui is an unashamed advocate for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging in every area of her life.

Active in her local area, Viqui serves as Worship Arts Pastor for her church, the exchange. She organized the Winchester Pride Worship celebration, does service work within the 12 Step community and advocates for neurodiversity.

Viqui describes herself as “Technical writer, wife and mom, bass player, worship leader, I’m happiest when folks sing along with me.”

Love People and Use Things: What My Cancer Journey Taught Me about Using AI and Working with SMEs

This case study explores the intersection of AI and my own personal cancer journey. In 2025, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. My hair fell out. Chemo took away short term memory. My hemoglobin levels plummeted and I had no energy. When artificial intelligence became available, I used Copilot, ChatGPT and Culture Cloud to overcome these challenges. Combined with the support of my community, I was able to continue to work full time, play with my band, the Dill Pickers, and even attend the 2025 LavaCon conference. And out of 3,200+ employees, I was given my company’s Culture Champion award, consistently fostering collaboration, appreciation, and clarity in every interaction.
